Job Description
Specialists in a particular sphere of technology play a crucial role in supporting the adoption and implementation of newer technologies by leveraging their valuable technical knowledge and practical experience. As a Specialist, your expertise in Material Science, LAN Cable, Fiber Optic Cable, and Connectivity will be instrumental in driving the success of the organization. With a B.Tech/M.Tech qualification and 8-12 years of experience, you will be expected to translate customer pain points into technical requirements, collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to showcase organizational capabilities, and provide recommendations for delivering application engineering solutions effectively. In this role, you will work closely with the Technology Unit Head to visualize and implement new technologies, identify and address technical roadblocks, and stay updated on the latest advancements in your field to drive continuous improvement at Sterlite. Additionally, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of good manufacturing practices, driving Sterlite's values, and mentoring and coaching reporting staff and other employees to ensure professional growth and development. Key Skills required for this position include 10-15 years of experience in pre-sales, design, and implementation in Data Center networking, Server, and Cloud solutions. Proficiency in Server & Storage Solutions, Private and Public Cloud design and dimensioning, Cloud Consulting, Migration, Design/Dimensioning, Deployment, Integration, as well as knowledge of Multi-Vendor exposure and Enterprise Management Systems (EMS/NMS) and tools are essential. Familiarity with IP/MPLS, Enterprise Networking, Campus networks, SD WAN, Access Points, Wireless LAN Controller, and Industry Certifications such as CCIE and CCNP in the DC network domain are highly preferred.
