Job Description
As a Plant IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the IT infrastructure within the plant to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime. This includes overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and communication systems to ensure availability and reliability. Additionally, you will lead IT infrastructure projects such as system upgrades, network expansions, and new technology implementations by planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure timely completion within budget constraints. You will also collaborate with vendors for hardware and software maintenance and support, implement and maintain IT security measures to protect plant data and systems, conduct regular audits and risk assessments, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Furthermore, providing technical support to plant staff, managing helpdesk operations, and resolving IT-related issues promptly will be part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will be involved in developing and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure the plant can continue operations in case of IT system failures. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security management, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Behavioral skills required for this role include excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within specified deadlines, and a collaborative approach with all stakeholders.,
