Job Description
Overview:
This role will be responsible for handling day-to-day IT, telecommunications, and network support within the branch or office, and for coordinating with external IT service providers and vendors for escalated issues. The technician will ensure smooth functioning of hardware, software, communication tools, and other tech infrastructure critical to the business.
Responsibilities:
- Perform any other IT related tasks as required by the company from time to time. Coordinate and manage all IT and technical matters (both hardware and software) in the company for having a trouble free and secure IT system.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including individual account setup, network configuration and user management.
- Review all hardware and software requirements; cost effectiveness, usability and technology requirements and recommend suitable venders/items/consumable etc.
- Assist in installation of hardware devices, spare parts requirements and supplier coordination.
- Ensure dependable and stable network connectivity within the organization, monitor visibility and output of all security cameras and phone systems by coordinating with service providers.
- Manage server units, software licenses, cloud storage, backup, Microsoft Active Directory server, anti virus, firewalls etc. through AMC or subscription as appropriate.
- Assist employees directly and / or through remote access in all branches and aid in troubleshoot / technical issues.
- Organizes installations, configurations and resolutions of hardware operation systems, applications, printers, scanners, fax as required by user or any of the team members.
- Provide timely assistance for new joiners email, office access and other related as required.
Preferred candidate profile
1. Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Certification in MCSA / CCNE desirable
2. Job Experience:
2-3 Years experience in similar roles.
