Job Description

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure, focusing primarily on Azure Cloud with Azure Stack HCI and AWS as secondary clouds. Your responsibilities include participating in capacity planning, collaborating with stakeholders to define cloud infrastructure goals, and implementing cost-effective cloud solutions. You will lead workload migration from on-premises VMware to Azure Cloud, optimize performance post-migration, and design networking solutions within Azure for robust connectivity. Additionally, you will manage cloud resources, utilize Azure Arc for hybrid environments, monitor infrastructure performance, and ensure data integrity and security across cloud and on-prem systems. You will engage with the Service Desk for escalations, provide guidance on technical issues, and contribute to a structured working environment based on defined processes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field, relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, and at least 3 years of experience in cloud platforms. Proficiency in Terraform, hands-on experience with hybrid cloud tools and container orchestration platforms, strong cloud networking concepts, and project management experience are desired. Additionally, familiarity with system administration, networking principles, ITIL, ITSM, and DevOps practices, along with effective communication skills and the ability to work in global teams, are essential for this role. A willingness to travel occasionally is also required.,
