Product Owner Job Responsibilities:

•Collaborate with internal sales partners and customers to capture business requirements to develop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.
•Develops, owns, and executes product roadmap.
•Translates business requirements and product roadmap into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
•Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
•Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, operations, project management and user enablement.
•Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products.
•Create hypothesis and plan for market validation of the product
Create clear value proposition of the product – pains, it would solve, and gains, it would bring to be customer and Seamless
•Turns data insights into products with actionable outcomes to the ultimate customer.
•Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.
•Partners with stakeholders across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
•Train Sales and other internal stakeholders on product value and capabilities
•Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
•Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance to evaluate future investment.
•Define MVPs and release plans
•Developing proof of concepts, mockups and prototypes for the product
•Participate in customer requirement discovery workshops and define milestones with relevant product features.
•Providing estimates for the product releases and versions
•Work closely with agile cross functional teams to build the product and attend scrum events
•Ensure that the development team understands items in the product backlog to the level needed
•Join customer presentations to present/demo products as required
•Send internal reports on product performance & updates
•Prepare product documentation and sales support material

Product Owner Qualifications / Skills:

•Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
•Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
•High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability

Education and Experience Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of product management experience
•Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions
•Established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles
•Experience of successfully driving end-to-end delivery of software solutions.
•Experience of retail distribution management, order management, and logistic businesses and processes

Good to have:

•Telecom retail distribution management experience
