Job Description
As an IS Service Owner at ABB, you will play a crucial role in supporting and developing IT Services for the ABB Treasury Function. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the end-to-end support and development of specific applications, making a significant contribution to the current and future IT Services provided to the business. This is a fixed-term contract role for 1 year, and you will be part of a hybrid work model. Your key accountabilities will include managing the run and build of Treasury applications, acting as a Project Manager for continuous development as required. You will coordinate the resolution of incidents, requests, or changes related to the applications and maintain end-to-end responsibility for delivering solutions. Leading Service Review Meetings to align the service quality with business needs, collaborating with other ABB IS units, defining and monitoring necessary OLAs and SLAs, and managing in-house application development in an Agile environment will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will oversee the change backlog for applications, plan software releases, control the delivery of business requirements and technical changes, monitor infrastructures and license costs. To qualify for this role, you should have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Economics, or related fields, along with experience in managing global IT applications/services or implementation projects. Familiarity with IT Service Management concepts (ITIL), technical aspects of applications, Scrum or general Agile practices, and Treasury or Corporate Finance processes will be advantageous. Fluency in English, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proactive attitude, and openness to challenges are essential for this role.
