Job Description
The Interventional Cardiologist DM DNB Consultant plays a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with cardiovascular diseases in Nanded, Maharashtra. You will be responsible for performing interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and catheterization, as well as conducting cardiac imaging tests and interpreting results. Additionally, your role will involve diagnosing and treating various cardiac conditions including heart attacks, arrhythmias, and heart failure. Collaboration with other specialists, including cardiothoracic surgeons and electrophysiologists, is essential to ensure comprehensive patient care. Your duties will also include providing comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after procedures, participating in research activities related to cardiology and interventional procedures, and implementing evidence-based practices and guidelines in patient care. As an Interventional Cardiologist, you will be required to train and supervise medical personnel and fellows, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with standards. Furthermore, contributing to the development of cardiac care programs and protocols will be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Doctor of Medicine (DM) or Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Cardiology, possess a valid medical license to practice as an interventional cardiologist in Maharashtra, and be board certified in interventional cardiology. Proven experience in performing complex interventional procedures, proficiency in interpreting cardiac imaging tests such as angiograms and echocardiograms, and strong knowledge of cardiovascular pharmacology and treatments are essential requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, commitment to ongoing professional development and education, and demonstrated research skills and contributions to academic publications are also necessary for this position.
