Job Description

The role aims to ensure a focused strategic Internal Audit related to taxes and compliance. You will be responsible for auditing statutory compliance and business accounts. Having prior exposure and experience in measuring Internal Audit effectiveness would be beneficial. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting financial, operational, system, and process audits for the company's business units and outsourced operations. You will be required to report the audit results to senior management and the Audit Committee. Working closely with all functions within the Company, you will define the Audit Calendar, Scope, and Coverage. It is essential to ensure that Audit Reports are followed up on to verify implementation progress and report on any non-compliance with Audit recommendations. You will also be expected to provide recommendations on the systems and procedures under review, report findings and recommendations, and monitor management's response and implementation. Developing effective business relationships within the company and supporting management in understanding and implementing internal control principles will be key to success in this role.
