Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and licensed Insurance Surveyor to inspect, evaluate, and report on insurance claims. The ideal candidate should have technical knowledge, strong analytical skills, and experience in assessing damages and losses in areas such as motor, property, fire, and health insurance. --- Key Responsibilities: Conduct physical inspection of insured properties, vehicles, or other claim-related items. Assess and evaluate the extent of loss/damage as per policy coverage. Collect evidence, photographs, and documentation to support the claim. Prepare detailed and unbiased survey reports within TAT (Turnaround Time). Liaise with policyholders, garages, workshops, hospitals, and other stakeholders. Coordinate with claims department to ensure fair and timely settlement of claims. Adhere to IRDA and company guidelines during surveys and reporting. Ensure accurate documentation and maintain confidentiality of claim information. Provide expert opinions in cases of dispute or fraud. --- Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and observational skills. Technical knowledge of motor, property, or health sectors (based on specialization). Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to manage fieldwork and travel for on-site inspections. Proficiency in survey/report writing tools and MS Office. Good time management and ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
