Associate Manager Acetylene- Instrumentation
- IInstrumentation System Design: Develop and implement instrumentation system design plans based on project requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISA, IEC)
- Process Control Systems (PCS): Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of PCS to ensure optimal performance
- Distributed Control Systems (DCS): Manage DCS for real-time monitoring and control of production processes
- Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA): Implement and maintain SCADA systems for efficient data acquisition and process control
- Advanced Process Control (APC): Utilize APC techniques to enhance production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to monitor instrumentation performance and optimize process control.
- Safety Management Systems (SMS): Develop and enforce SMS to ensure compliance with safety regulations and mitigate risks.
- Quality Control Protocols: Establish and maintain quality control protocols to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to instrumentation, including signal interference, sensor drift, and equipment malfunctions.
- Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics tools to monitor instrumentation performance and optimize process control.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules for instrumentation equipment to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
- Project Management: Lead instrumentation projects from design to commissioning, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a team of instrumentation engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in instrumentation processes and implement best practices.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors for the procurement, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation equipment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in instrumentation and control systems within the petrochemical industry.
