We are looking for a talented and innovative Industrial Design Engineer to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will design and develop products that excel in functionality, user friendliness, and visual appeal. This role demands a combination of technical skills, creativity, and a deep appreciation for user experience. Duties & Responsibilities Develop innovative design solutions for new and existing products, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements aligning with market needs and company objectives. Assist in the design and development of product concepts from ideation to prototyping. Generate sketches, renderings, and 3D models (Solidworks) to communicate design ideas effectively, Familiarity with additional design softwares such as KeyShot, Solidworks Visualize,Blender will be added advantages. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering,marketing, and production, to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability Conduct user research, usability conditions and incorporate user feedback into the design process Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation. Conduct risk assessments and design reviews to identify potential design and safety issues Choose suitable materials and finishes for product designs by taking into account factors such as cost-effectiveness, durability, and environmental sustainability. Test and refine design concepts through prototyping including 3D printing, CNC machining, and traditional hand-crafting. Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to source and evaluate new materials and technologies. Experience/Knowledge in the medical device /robotics, Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance processes will be added advantage. Key Skills Proven ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear and functional designs. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks). Strong sketching and rendering skills. A seasoned understanding of how things work and are made Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for creating user-centred designs. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. added advantages Knowledge of Medical devices/robotic systems and various robotic applications.
