Job Description
Role & Responsibilities Inventory planning along with Category Managers for the season Inventory budgeting alignment for the season along with Senior management Manage seasonal and non-seasonal sale and liquidation to minimize inventory losses Increase in inventory turns Develop process and strategy to liquidate dead/ non seasonal inventory to free up cash via App and offline network Build offline network to liquidate inventory Develop and implement effective inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels Monitor and analyze inventory performance, ensuring accuracy and timely updates Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and prevent out of stock or overstock situations Implement wholistic model for inventory liquidation strategy Implementation of SOR model for aligned sellers KPIs: Inventory turns Inventory value > 6 months Dead inventory value Inventory as % GMV Increase in conversion due to inventory purchase/movement Qualifications & Experience: - MBA/bachelors degree from Tier-1/2 College Prior Experience in management consulting / high growth startups / Early age startups/Operations/Inventory management Analytical and Highly Data Oriented with and on with analytics tools (SQL/Python would be an added advantage) Personality Aspects: - Problem-solving mindset with an ability to own the problem and get things done Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stakeholders across different teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Should have drive to deliver Ability to partner with stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies.
