We are currently seeking an experienced Import & Export Executive with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the import-export and freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of logistics processes, customs regulations, and international trade documentation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage end-to-end import and export operations for commercial cargo and personal effects. - Handle all customs clearance procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. - Prepare and verify shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations. - Coordinate with clients, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure smooth cargo movement. - Negotiate freight rates and contracts with carriers to optimize cost and efficiency. - Monitor shipments, track cargo movement, and provide real-time updates to clients. - Oversee international and domestic freight operations via air, sea, and land. - Ensure proper HS code classification and adherence to import-export laws. - Manage trade compliance documentation and ensure adherence to INCOTERMS. - Handle disputes and troubleshoot shipment-related issues promptly. - Liaise with warehousing and transportation teams for seamless last-mile delivery. - Maintain records of transactions, shipments, and regulatory filings for audit and compliance purposes. - Stay updated on international trade policies, freight trends, and customs regulations. - Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to support business growth. **Requirements:** - Minimum 2 years of experience in import-export operations and freight forwarding. - Strong understanding of customs clearance, shipping procedures, and international trade compliance. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with logistics management software is a plus. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability. - Knowledge of HS codes, INCOTERMS, and international freight regulations. - Willingness to travel if required for logistics coordination and client meetings. - Ability to analyze freight market trends to make cost-effective logistics decisions. - Strong customer service mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution. **Why Join Us ** - Be part of a fast-growing logistics company with a dynamic and collaborative work environment. - Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth. - Work alongside industry experts and expand your network in the global trade sector. - Competitive salary and performance-based incentives. - Exposure to international markets and global supply chain operations.
