Job Description
The role at KPMG in India is for a position in the Integrated Center of Excellence Tax (ICoE) team, which plays a crucial role in driving efficiency, excellence, and continuous innovation within the organization. As part of the ICoE Tax team, you will be working with a 300+ member team to deliver a wide range of services to Client Service Teams (CST) across different locations. The primary objective is to provide customized tax services to clients, focusing on creating value in their business through innovative and effective solutions. We are looking for candidates with strong communication skills and approximately 5-6 years of relevant corporate tax experience for qualified professionals or 7-8 years for non-qualified individuals. The ideal candidates should have experience from reputable mid-size CA firms, global firms, or relevant companies. The role may require location readiness in Kolkata, Noida, and Mumbai (specifically Juinagar in Navi Mumbai) and a willingness to work from the office for a minimum of 3+ days per week. The key responsibilities of this role include handling corporate tax-related tasks such as advance tax working review and preparation, TDS/TCS working preparation and review, quarterly TDS/TCS return filing, computation preparation, ITR filing, and exposure to Tax Audit Reports. Additionally, the role involves managing litigations, including drafting assessment submissions, appeals, conducting research, and interpreting laws and cases to provide valuable insights and opinions. This position also involves team management responsibilities where you will be expected to guide Analysts and Senior Analysts to ensure high-quality work output. The qualifications required for this role include being a Chartered Accountant (CA) or a non-CA with 7-9 years of relevant experience.
