Overview The IB EYP Homeroom Teacher plays a crucial role in the Sadashivnagar campus by providing high-quality, engaging, and holistic education to young learners. The teacher fosters a nurturing and stimulating learning environment to support the overall development of students, laying a strong foundation for their academic journey. Key Responsibilities Implementing the International Baccalaureate Early Years Programme curriculum effectively Planning and delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment Assessing and documenting student progress using a variety of methods Collaborating with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum Communicating regularly with parents regarding student progress and well-being Organizing and participating in school events and activities Supervising and ensuring the safety of students at all times Adhering to professional standards and school policies Participating in professional development and training activities Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field IB certification or willingness to complete IB training Proven experience in teaching early years students in an international setting Familiarity with the IB EYP curriculum and philosophy Strong understanding of child development principles Excellent classroom management skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Strong organizational and time management skills Commitment to continuous professional growth and learning Fluency in English (spoken and written) Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse community First aid and CPR certification (preferred) Experience with educational technology tools (e.g., SMART Boards, educational software) Understanding of and respect for different cultural perspectives Skills: early childhood education,curriculum development,classroom management,communication skills,ib,child development,
