Job Description

HVAC TECHNICIAN : An HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Technician installs, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. They diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure systems operate efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Installation: Install new HVAC systems according to specifications and building codes. Essential Skills: Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with HVAC systems, mechanics, electricity, and refrigerants. Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and fix issues with HVAC systems. Communication: Clear communication with customers and other technicians. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with other technicians and professionals. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks like filter changes, cleaning, and refrigerant refills. Repair: Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC equipment, including electrical and mechanical issues. Testing and Inspection: Test and inspect HVAC systems and components to ensure proper functioning and identify potential problems. Customer Interaction: Explain system issues and maintenance procedures to customers. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed and maintenance schedules.
