Job Description
As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for establishing procedures to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment standards throughout all project phases. Your primary focus will be on implementing policies, systems, and procedures to uphold these standards. Additionally, you will have the authority to approve project-specific deviations from standard HSE guidelines. In this role, you will be required to prepare monthly Health, Safety, and Environment Management Information System (HSE MIS) reports for review by the Risk Control Manager and Project Manager. You will also be the main point of contact for HSE issues, liaising with clients, consultants, Yard construction teams, statutory bodies, certification agencies, and other relevant parties. Your responsibilities will include attending key client meetings where safety is a key agenda item, investigating all accidents, and providing recommendations for appropriate corrective actions. It is imperative that you stay updated on the latest International Labour Organization (ILO) safety guidelines and other globally recognized HSE organizations to ensure best practices are implemented. Overall, your contribution will be crucial in maintaining a safe and compliant working environment for all project stakeholders.,
