This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 400000 - Rs 700000 (ie INR 4-7 LPA) Min Experience: 2 years Location: Mumbai JobType: full-time We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations Executive/Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 8 years of hands-on experience in HR operations and will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of HR processes, policies, and employee lifecycle activities. This role demands a strong understanding of core HR functions, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional employee support and operational excellence. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Manage and execute the day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, induction, documentation, employee record management, and offboarding processes. Maintain and update employee information in HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of data. Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR queries, policies, and procedures. Assist in compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, gratuity, and labor laws. Support the HR team in implementing and maintaining HR policies and standard operating procedures. Generate regular HR reports and dashboards (headcount, attrition, absenteeism, etc.) for management review. Coordinate with third-party vendors and consultants for background verification, insurance, and other HR services. Facilitate internal communications related to HR announcements, policy changes, and employee engagement programs. Identify opportunities for process improvements in HR operations and contribute to automation or system enhancements. Key Skills & Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 2 to 8 years of experience in HR operations, generalist HR, or similar roles. Solid understanding of employment laws, HR practices, and statutory compliance. Hands-on experience with HRIS tools and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage confidential information. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Experience in handling employee queries and resolving grievances in a timely and empathetic manner,
