Job Description
As a Training and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting training needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and consultations with managers. Your role will involve designing and implementing training programs to address skill gaps and enhance employee capabilities. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing and managing the annual training calendar and budget. In this position, you will have the opportunity to source external trainers or develop in-house training content and materials. It will be essential to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in supporting leadership development initiatives and succession planning within the organization. Collaboration with department heads to align training programs with business objectives will be a crucial aspect of your role. You will be responsible for organizing onboarding programs for new employees and maintaining training records to ensure compliance with industry and legal training requirements. Furthermore, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development will be a central focus of your responsibilities.
