Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruitment for technical and non-technical roles, including electricians, panel assemblers, QA/QC staff, and design engineers.
- Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and conduct reference checks.
- Facilitate onboarding and induction for new hires with safety and compliance orientation.
2. Payroll & Compliance
- Maintain attendance records, leave management, and process monthly payroll.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, Bonus Act, Factory Act, and other applicable labor laws.
- Manage contractor labor documentation and compliance audits.
3. Employee Relations
- Handle grievance redressal, disciplinary actions, and employee counseling.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and productive workplace.
- Conduct regular communication meetings with shop floor and office staff.
4. Performance Management
- Coordinate appraisal cycles, goal setting, and feedback sessions.
- Maintain performance records and assist in employee development plans.
5. Training & Development
- Identify training needs specific to electrical panel manufacturing (safety, machine operation, quality).
- Organize technical and soft skills training for workers and staff.
6. HR Operations & Admin
- Maintain HRMIS, employee files, and documentation.
- Assist in factory administration, facility management, and statutory record-keeping.
- Coordinate with auditors and government departments for inspections.
7. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Support safety initiatives, ensure PPE usage, and conduct toolbox talks.
- Maintain accident records and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Skills Required:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-solving ability and conflict resolution.
- Familiarity with MS Office, HR software, and documentation.
- Exposure to shop floor operations and factory HR practices.
