Job Description

As a Hostess, your main responsibility will be to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for customers at F-Wine Dine. You will warmly greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and help maintain an organized flow in the restaurant. Your duties will include warmly welcoming customers upon their arrival, escorting them to their tables, and providing them with menus. You will ensure that guests are comfortable and assist with seating arrangements. In terms of reservation management, you will handle reservation requests through phone calls or online platforms. It will be your responsibility to maintain an organized reservation system, update it as needed, and coordinate with the kitchen and waitstaff to efficiently manage reservations. You will also assist customers by providing information about menu items, specials, and promotions. Additionally, you will address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests while monitoring and managing customer waiting lists during peak hours. Maintaining cleanliness and ambiance in the dining area is crucial. You will need to ensure that the dining area is clean, tidy, and appropriately set up. Collaboration with the cleaning staff to maintain hygiene standards and assisting in creating a pleasant ambiance with appropriate lighting, music, and decor will also be part of your role. Effective communication with the kitchen and waitstaff is essential to ensure smooth operations. You will relay customer feedback and special requests to the relevant team members. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the management team to organize and execute special events, ensuring they run smoothly by coordinating with staff and customers. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and the flexibility to handle a fast-paced environment. Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, along with the ability to multitask and work as part of a team, are also key qualities. Ideally, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent and previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role. Skills in customer service and operations will be beneficial for this position.,
