Key Responsibilities

• Student Welfare & Discipline
• Maintain discipline and decorum in the hostel.
• Counsel students facing personal or academic challenges.
• Enforce hostel rules and regulations.
• Hostel Administration
• Allot rooms and maintain resident records.
• Supervise hostel staff including mess managers, cooks, and cleaners.
• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Mess & Facilities Oversight
• • Oversee food quality and kitchen hygiene.
  • Inspect dining hall and ensure proper functioning of mess services.
  • Manage inventory of mess supplies and hostel equipment.
  • Security & Emergency Response
  • Ensure security of hostel premises.
  • Coordinate with security personnel and respond to emergencies.
  • Handle unauthorized guests and enforce visitor policies.
  • Financial & Logistical Duties
  • Maintain imprest accounts and hostel budgets.
  • Approve bills and supervise purchases.
  • Ensure proper documentation and stock registers.
  • Community Building
    • Organize cultural, recreational, and wellness activities.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive hostel environment.
