Notice Period : 90 days

On time availability / delivery of raw materials at the most competitive price against BOM/Planning to meet targets.

Duties and Responsibilities
Operational:

  • Planning of material procurement, Preparation of Annual Rate Contract for services/ Maintenance contract for plant and Machineries.
  • Managing RFQ process, technical & commercial negotiation, placement of order, follows up
  • with the Europeans, Indian & US based vendors.
  • Obtain order acknowledgement from suppliers and inform planning dept. about the delivery commitments of material
  • Materials follow up for timely delivery to line up the delivery as per planning schedule of production.
  • Coordinate with Design , Production, QA, Store and other related functions in smooth execution of the project to meet the Project time lines
  • Submission periodical MIS report & Ensuring on Time Delivery of Spares and parts for ESD
  • Creation of Purchase Order (FPO, LPO, OTH, MNT, CPX) incorporating all the technical specification, delivery schedule, agreed commercial terms and conditions & Customs, H.S.Code, description fulfilling the requirement of purchase policy.
  • Executing commercial & technical discussions / negotiation on pricing, lead times, etc. with the suppliers.
  • Draw & finalize Rate Comparative Analysis after negotiation as the base document for PO with other necessary formats and monitor & follow up, the movement of PO file which is put on approval process on daily basis.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelors in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge in Transformers industry
  • Knowledge of Transformers raw materials
  • Knowledge of ERP system and ERP environment
  • Industry Overview
  • Good Negotiation skills
  • Excellent Communication skills in English; Arabic is preferable
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Persuasion skills
