Job Description
You will be responsible for setting up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, such as knives, pans, and kitchen scales. It will be your duty to study each recipe thoroughly and gather all necessary ingredients before cooking food in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be required to delegate tasks to kitchen staff, inform wait staff about daily specials, and ensure appealing plate presentation. Supervising Cooks and assisting as needed will also be part of your responsibilities. You may need to slightly modify recipes to meet customers" needs and requests, for example, by reducing salt or removing dairy. Monitoring food stock, placing orders, checking the freshness of food, and discarding out-of-date items will also be essential tasks in this role. This is a full-time position with food provided as a benefit. The schedule may include day shifts, evening shifts, morning shifts, and night shifts. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience as a Chef, with a total of 2 years of work experience preferred. The work location for this position is in person.,
