Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled DRO Milling Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in operating DRO (Digital Read Out) milling machines, interpreting technical drawings, and producing high-precision components.Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate DRO milling machines to perform precision machining operations.
• Interpret and work from mechanical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T symbols.
• Set up workpieces, tools, and fixtures on the milling machine.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy of components using measuring instruments like vernier callipers, micrometres, and height gauges.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and follow routine maintenance schedules.
• Identify and correct machine malfunctions or errors.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and production logs.
• Adhere to all safety and quality standards in the workshop.

Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, or relevant trade.
• Fresher or experienced operating DRO milling machines.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and machining symbols (especially GD&T).
• Knowledge of tool selection and machine settings for different materials.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and precision.

Industry preference: precision manufacturing.

3. Mandate criteria or skill set: Should know about DRO milling machines & understand GD&T. 

4. Working days & time: 6 days working, rotational shift (3 shifts)

5. Mode of interview & rounds: Round 1: Online (Zoom) & Round 2: on-site
