Job Opening: Data Science/AI Specialist BFSI/Life Insurance (Mumbai) We are looking for a Data Science/AI Specialist with a strong background in the BFSI/Life Insurance industry to join our team in Mumbai. Position Details Experience: Minimum 7 years Industry: BFSI or Life Insurance (Mandatory) Job Location: Mumbai Notice Period: Maximum 45 days Budget: Up to 18 lacs (hike can be offered 20-25% based on current CTC) Key Responsibilities & Requirements Industry Knowledge: At least 1-2 years of experience in BFSI/Life Insurance Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and Databricks Machine Learning Expertise: Strong knowledge of ML algorithms like XGBoost, Neural Networks, and Random Forests, along with a deep understanding of gradient descent techniques GenAI & LLMs (Optional): Experience in analyzing unstructured data and building Unsupervised Learning: Proficiency in clustering, segmentation, and cohort creation Cloud & MLOps: Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and deploying ML models with MLOps practices Anomaly Detection: Ability to detect rare events, including fraud detection, using machine learning This role is ideal for individuals eager to leverage AI and ML solutions to drive business insights and risk analysis in the BFSI sector.
