Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks of machine.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refill equipment as scheduled and/or required.
• Track all equipment information, including spare parts and documentation.
• Respects the driving rules and safety precautions;
• Participate in routine maintenance of Heavy Earth Moving Machine.
• Recommend any requirements for maintenance or repairs to the Supervisor.
• Reporting when Failure Happened or Spotted Warning Signals on Time.
• Using the machine only for intended operational work.
• Practice or Follow all workplace safety standards and safe work practices.
• Evaluates & reports work performance under the area of responsibility.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Requirements

Academic Qualification:

• VALID DRIVING LICENSE
• VET I + 8 years experience
• T/TVET II + 16 years experience
• TVET III year + 24 years experience
