Skills: Team Collaboration, Data Collection, Assistive Technology, Positive Reinforcement, Lesson Planning, Classroom Management, Position: Health and Wellness cum Special Educator Location: Podar International School, Daund Job Type: Full-Time Reporting To: School Principal / Academic Coordinator Key Responsibilities Health and Wellness: Conduct health and wellness sessions for students across grades. Promote mental health awareness, emotional well-being, and stress management. Provide individual and group counselling for students, when required. Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students overall development. Maintain student counselling records confidentially and professionally. Organize health awareness activities (e.g., workshops, guest sessions, campaigns). Special Education Identify students with learning difficulties or special educational needs (SEN). Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Provide one-on-one or small group remedial instruction. Support classroom teachers in managing and adapting lessons for SEN students. Liaise with external specialists, psychologists, and parents. Maintain documentation and reports as per CBSE/ICSE/state board norms. Qualification & Skills Required Graduate/Postgraduate in Psychology, Counselling, Special Education, or related field. B.Ed. in Special Education (preferred). Minimum 13 years of relevant experience in school counselling or special education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
