Job Description

You will be responsible for the accounting and reporting of various global businesses and internal management reporting. Your focus will include managing cost accruals, finalizing plans/budgets, business partnering, and various P&L and Balance Sheet account reconciliations. You will also have the responsibility of assisting and coordinating with other key stakeholders in the US and local finance teams on several ad-hoc reporting requests, analysis, and partnership on complex global and local technical accounting matters wherever required. Additionally, you will work closely with teams within other functions in Finance including Tax, Treasury, Financial Systems, and Financial Planning & Analysis. You will play a key role in creating process improvements across Finance as a function, documenting processes to provide transparency, streamlining processes, and working with Finance leadership to transition to a more automated management reporting as well as other global businesses. Your profile should include the ability to work in a team across different geographies, work under pressure, maintain deadlines, and possess excellent communication skills. Flexibility to work in US shifts is required. Eligibility criteria for this role include 15+ years of accounting-related work experience, including US GAAP accounting, management and financial reporting. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, while CPA/CA/Cost accountant status is strongly preferred. An MBA is a plus. Previous working experience at a large multinational company within a multi-currency environment, where foreign operations represent a significant portion of consolidated results is advantageous. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS will be an added advantage. You should have the ability to operate at both a high level as well as a detailed level, possess sound analytical and reporting skills, apply critical thinking, judgment, and make decisions. Good management judgment, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed to interact with peer groups, senior leadership, and third-party service providers. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple changing priorities along with day-to-day responsibilities are crucial. You should exhibit strong work ethics, a professional attitude, reliability, experience using QuickBooks and Oracle-based accounting systems, and advanced computer literacy including the use of Windows and corresponding software applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.,
