Job Description
Role Definition The Quality Control Head is responsible for leading the Quality Control (QC) department to ensure all rugs and carpets meet the company's quality standards, client specifications, and compliance requirements. He will oversee QC and Quality Assurance teams, develop quality protocols, conduct audits, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to deliver consistently high-quality products. Key Result Areas Quality Assurance & Standards Compliance Inspection & Testing Processes Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization Team Leadership & Training Key Tasks and Activities Quality Assurance & Standards Compliance Develop, update, and enforce quality policies, SOPs, and inspection standards aligned with customer expectations and certifications. Collaborate with production and design teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into the manufacturing process. Conduct regular audits, both random and scheduled, across production units and finishing departments to verify compliance. Verify samples, bulk batches, and finished products against client specifications and internal standards. Inspection & Testing Processes Lead and supervise the QC Executive in conducting inspections at various production stages. Oversee testing procedures for raw materials, dyes, and finished goods as per quality norms. Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, deviations, and corrective actions. Coordinate with external labs or certification agencies where necessary. Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization Analyze quality data to identify recurring issues, root causes, and areas for process improvement. Initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce defects and rework rates. Support the implementation of best practices and industry standards for quality management. Team Leadership & Training Lead, mentor, and evaluate QC and QA executives, providing ongoing training to upgrade their skills. Set performance KPIs for the quality team, conduct regular reviews, and foster a culture of quality excellence. Promote a quality-first mindset across all production and finishing staff.,
