Job Description

The role of Head of Holidays is crucial in developing and leading the delivery of the holiday strategy. Managing key stakeholder relationships is essential to ensure value for money from third-party partnerships and to support teams throughout the customer journey for an enhanced customer experience. As the Head of Holidays, you will oversee the entire product life cycle for Holidays, from planning to execution. Your responsibilities will include managing the product line life cycle, contracting with international suppliers, designing and pricing itineraries, creating travel products based on market requirements, managing costs through effective negotiation, building relationships with suppliers, ensuring product inventory availability, developing packages based on market demands, creating marketing plans, increasing sales, fostering customer relationships, and recruiting holiday consultants. You will be accountable for the profitability of the holiday division, managing revenue through pricing decisions and sales data analysis. Your deliverables will focus on developing competitive holiday packages, recruiting and training holiday consultants, ensuring lead generation, enhancing customer experience, and achieving revenue targets. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in managing travel products. Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and organizational skills are necessary. You should also possess effective negotiation and contracting abilities, willingness to travel for supplier interactions, and a strong knowledge of international destinations such as the Middle East, Far East, Indian Ocean, and USA Holidays. This position is based in Kochi within the Travel department, offering full-time regular employment with a work model of Work From Office.,
