Job Description

Key Responsibilities: To undertake all aspects of financial management, including accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget, and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. The responsibilities will also include financial risk management. Technical/Functional Proficiency Required Business Partnership: Collaborating with business leaders for accurate financial projections. Working Capital monitoring and control, optimization of capital employed to improve the ROCE. Building productive working relationships with internal business stakeholders to understand their business operations and the financial information needs. Controllership, Governance & risk management: Developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures. Review of agreements, contracts, and RFP documents to ensure all risks and commercial clauses are handled. Responsible for review of ledgers, ensuring all provisions are done and reporting the MIS to the Executive Management. Ensure timely monthly closing and perform various analytical procedures along with budget vs actual analysis. Driving various cost control initiatives. Coordinating with Internal, Statutory & Tax Auditors in conducting the audit. Financial Planning, Analysis, MIS & Budgeting: Managing the expectations of the internal stakeholders through providing them monthly MIS, accounts, cash flows statements and legal compliance reports. Preparing and reviewing annual budgets, monthly forecasts & operating results. Supervision of Operational Fund & related management including banking activities: Working closely with the reconciliation team to handle the operational fund management and analysis of the fund requirement. Ensuring effective internal controls to avoid the cash loss. Cash Flow management: Managing cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports. Collection management: Oversee the collection of outstanding credit and invoices to minimize profit loss while ensuring it is handled appropriately and per company policy. Create and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding debt.
