This role necessitates a comprehensive understanding of the communications and marketing landscape in India and the capacity to align business objectives with market opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned executive with a proven track record of expanding businesses, formulating go-to-market strategies, and securing high-value clients within PR, digital, or integrated marketing agencies. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: - Develop and implement the company's growth strategy spanning services, industries, and regions. - Collaborate with the senior leadership team to synchronize strategic objectives with operational plans. - Recognize emerging trends and market changes to position the agency as a thought leader. Business Development: - Take charge of the entire business development process from identifying opportunities to closing contracts. - Establish a strong pipeline of prospective clients through networking, partnerships, alliances, and proactive engagement. - Lead crucial pitches and proposals with the assistance of functional teams (creative, digital, PR). - Enhance and broaden key client relationships to boost business volume and service reach. Partnerships & Alliances: - Cultivate strategic partnerships with industry counterparts, digital platforms, and complementary service providers. - Represent Teamwork at prominent industry gatherings, forums, and business development conferences. Team Leadership & Collaboration: - Construct, oversee, and guide a high-performing business development and strategy team. - Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation within the department. - Collaborate closely with account servicing, PR, and digital teams to ensure cohesive solutions. This is a full-time position with benefits including paid sick time and a performance bonus.
