Job Description
The Head Innovation is responsible for setting up Innovation as a function with a clear approach, goals, and functionality. You will oversee the effective functioning of the Innovation team which leads technological initiatives, monitoring & evaluation, and program design of Bright Future programs. Your responsibilities will include: - Outlining Bright Future's technological vision and implementing technology strategies aligned with organizational goals. - Leveraging technological support to complement program implementation efforts. - Identifying, comparing, selecting, and implementing technology solutions for current and future program needs. - Building a customized MIS system for the Livelihood program to streamline data management for data-driven decision-making. - Managing strategic vendor and technology partner relationships. - Using stakeholders" feedback to make necessary improvements to technology. - Ensuring technological resources meet Bright Future's short and long-term needs. - Managing external reporting exercises for quality & timely reporting and compliance with Donor MoUs. - Leading evidence-based advocacy efforts for Bright Futures. - Ensuring technological practices adhere to regulatory standards and compliance. - Leading the development of Bandhan app for alumni engagement. - Providing guidance in external impact assessment processes as the custodian of data. Required Qualifications & Experience: Good to Have: - Experience in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) preferred, or experience in project management and program evaluation in the Education/Life Skills space. Qualifications: - Masters in Development Studies with Certifications in M&E preferred. Years of Experience: - 12 to 15 years in project management and program evaluation in an Education/Life Skills NGO, with 4-5 years in a leadership role. Demonstrated experience in leveraging technology for program efficiency. Required Knowledge: - Theoretical knowledge of Monitoring and Evaluation systems application. - Understanding of livelihood and youth development space. - Understanding of grassroots implementation challenges, urban low-income communities, and job markets. - Knowledge of key M&E concepts, MIS software, SPSS, psychology, learning methodologies, and organizational development processes. Required Skills: - Prioritization, relationship-building, program and tool designing, MS Office (especially Advanced Excel), data analysis, reporting, and presentation. - Training & facilitation, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, leadership (especially in Operations team management), research, and advanced technological skills. Language Requirements: - Fluency in written and spoken English & Hindi. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, technological expertise, program management skills, and the ability to lead and innovate within the organization to drive impact and efficiency in Bright Future programs.,
