Job Description
You are looking for a Head HSE to join a Slag Management and Metal Recovery company based in Kolkata. As the Head of the HSE department, your primary responsibility will be to standardize all activities within the company and elevate the overall HSE standard. You will be required to have experience in creating and implementing HSE policies for the company, managing HSE implementation across multiple branches, and sourcing and leading HSE experts for all branches. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing improvement projects related to HSE, providing training and skill development, and leading the HSE department of the company that handles multiple branches. Your role will involve policy making and implementation at various branches, standardizing all HSE processes, organizing audits, and owning improvement projects. Daily progress monitoring and reporting, coordination with branch heads, department heads, and clients are also key aspects of this position. You should be willing to travel to different branches periodically and focus on automating all HSE processes and reporting while maintaining a safety-first mindset. The ideal candidate will have a team-building and cross-functional mindset, be ownership-driven, approach all activities professionally, and have the ability to prepare and adhere to timelines. The position requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in HSE, a B.Tech qualification, and industry exposure in metal recovery, slag processing, mining contracting, material handling, or earthmoving.
