Job Description
Key Responsibilities Design and develop PCBs and electronic hardware for IoT devices and embedded systems. Create detailed schematics and layouts using industry-standard tools such as Altium Designer or KiCAD. Perform simulations, analysis, and validation of hardware designs to meet performance and reliability standards. Collaborate with firmware engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software. Conduct hardware debugging, testing, and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative features into designs. Generate documentation for designs, testing procedures, and manufacturing guidelines. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field. 1+ years of experience in hardware design, preferably in IoT or embedded systems. Proficiency in PCB design software (e.g., Altium, KiCAD, Eagle). Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles. Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers. Familiarity with communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN. Knowledge of EMC/EMI standards and compliance testing. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with RF design and antenna integration. Knowledge of power electronics and battery management systems. Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for testing (DFT) practices. Experience in prototyping and working with contract manufacturers.
