Job Description
As a Guest Relations representative, your primary responsibility is to ensure that guests have a positive and memorable experience during their stay. This involves welcoming guests upon arrival, being available to address any inquiries or concerns they may have throughout their stay, while providing personalized assistance to meet their needs and preferences. Youll serve as a liaison between our guests and the hotel, striving to exceed expectations by anticipating and fulfilling guest needs, arranging special requests, and resolving any issues or complaints in an attentive, prompt, and professional manner.
What You'll Do
List specific job responsibilities. For example:
Greet guests upon arrival in a warm and professional manner, providing a positive first impression
Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing accurate information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
Facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes
Provide luggage assistance, transportation, and guest information as needed
Anticipate and fulfill guest needs, offering personalized assistance with special requests, such as providing amenities or customized care, while coordinating with relevant departments, enhancing the guest experience
Offer local knowledge and recommendations for entertainment and activities, dining options, arranging restaurant reservations, all with the aim of enhancing the guest experience
Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and courteously, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction while upholding the hotel's standard for excellence
Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, preferences, and special requests to facilitate personalized service for future visits
Coordinate guest services for planned special events, such as weddings or conferences, ensuring all guest needs are met and expectations exceeded
Build positive relationships with guests through attentive service and proactive communication, aiming to cultivate guest loyalty
