Job Description
As a Housekeeping Attendant, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of designated areas within the hotel according to established standards and procedures. You will be responsible for attending daily briefings, receiving and completing daily assigned tasks, and understanding the varying guest levels and room categories, including VIP guests. Your duties will include replenishing guest supplies promptly, reporting any damage or malfunction in hotel rooms or areas to the Supervisor, and maintaining the cleanliness of equipment. It is essential to keep a section room report and a daily productivity report, as well as reporting lost and found articles to the housekeeping office immediately. Handling guest complaints with tact and reporting any incidents or irregularities to the Supervisor in a timely manner are also key responsibilities. In addition, you must be vigilant in reporting unusual behavior or activities in guestrooms, floors, or public areas to the Supervisor and accurately recording room statuses in your designated section. You may also be required to carry out valet services such as delivering linen or processing laundry orders when necessary. Other responsibilities include being knowledgeable about hotel fire and life safety procedures, attending all briefings, meetings, and trainings as assigned by management, and maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene. You should also establish and maintain effective working relationships with your fellow employees. To qualify for this position, you should have a primary school education and possess good oral proficiency in the English language. You must be service-oriented with a keen eye for details, able to work effectively in a team, self-motivated, and energetic. Maintaining a well-presented and professional appearance at all times is essential.
