GM Mechanical Maintenance Dangote Group

·      Monitor maintenance activities for efficiency and safety ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements are followed.

·      Coordinate the maintenance of raw mill/kiln/ coal mill in a safe, professional manner, in accordance with industry standards, environmental restrictions, original equipment manufacturers’ recommendations and DCP Standard Operating Procedures.

·      Oversee technical staffs in the performance of their duties and provide expertise as required.

·      Enforce accident prevention and occupational health work procedures and regulations. Ensure safekeeping of materials, tools, and equipment.

·      Prepare weekly/monthly maintenance reports for the attention of the Head, Mechanical.

·      Ensure spare part planning time to time.

·      Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Head, Mechanical from time to time.

·      Prepare and monitor capital and operating budgets for the central plant maintenance and utilities.

·      Prepare maintenance reports pertaining to workshop, central maintenance and utilities for the attention of the Head, Mechanical.

·      Coordinate plant-wide maintenance systems and processes, and sharing of resources across all maintenance areas.

Requirements

• BSc in mechanical with 25 years of relevant experiences in cement industry.
