Job Description
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing global procurement activities. Your key responsibilities will include negotiating with vendors to reduce costs, comparing proposals and specifications, managing and reviewing contracts, reporting and budgeting for G&A costs, releasing purchase orders to suppliers, and following up for timely delivery. To excel in this role, you should have 1-2 years of previous experience in Procurement, Purchase, or Supply Chain departments. A background in engineering, logistics, or supply chain education is preferred. You should possess in-depth knowledge of contracts and invoicing, have strong problem-solving skills, and a good understanding of Excel. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate with vendors, analyze proposals, and ensure that procurement processes run smoothly.
