Associate Consultant - SAP SuccessFactors

Roles and Responsibilities

We are recruiting a Global Mobility Associate Consultant in our Global HR technology support team. This position will have primary responsibility for the business support of the Global Mobility Professionals.  In this capacity, the position will be key in supporting the operational activities for the GMP through effective query management, stakeholder guidance and interaction, be the liaison between functional departments and provide operational and technical solutions. 

  • Responsible for query management, triage and proving corresponding solution(s). Ensure issues are resolved timely, accurately, and efficiently. 
  • Consult with Global assignment management teams to develop an understanding of the varied and complex business and procedural needs to be supported by global mobility specific applications. 
  • Participate in discussions with stakeholders to understand the business needs for technology enhancements, creating process flow diagrams to reflect current state, analyse options to define future state, and turning the solutions into business and functional requirement documents.
  • Participate in website design including content development, interface and usability design, web pages and online database creation using tools including HTML and Microsoft SharePoint Designer. 
  • Define Quality Assurance solutions including creation of detailed test plans and scripts, identification of test cases, review of test scenarios, analysis of test results, and troubleshooting identified defects. Conduct usability, performance, and functional (unit, regression, and user acceptance) testing.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels in an organization using non-technical language and leveraging those skills to successfully work with virtual (international) teams and across different functions. 
  • Manage select reporting and operational aspects for technology utilizing database administration software tools including SQL, MS Access, MS Excel, and Link Enterprise.
  • Conduct database audits by proactively performing analysis on data schemas and running queries using MS Access and SQL to validate data integrity.
  • Assist in the database administration and maintenance of global mobility applications. 
  • Knowledge in understanding of SuccessFactors configurations, customizations, and integration concepts.
  • Execute functional, integration, and regression tests during SAP releases.
  • Provide local user support and assistance day-to-day for all centrally maintained applications, (system configuration, role-based permissions, user access, training).

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work under ambiguity. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • The ability to work independently in a global virtual team involving people from many cultures and varying language skills.
  • HR technology experience, expatriate management/global mobility experience is preferred.
  • Technically sound with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with the primary focus on Excel. 
  • Reporting experience is an advantage (like Power BI).
  • Previous experience managing Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is preferred.

Education/ Professional Qualifications

  • Graduate in Computer Science/IT or Business Administration (mandatory)
  • Master of Business Administration (good to have)
