Job Description
As a Manager for the Global Finance and Operations Services team, you will be responsible for leading a growing team and scaling and refining processes to support the fast-growing business. Your role will involve developing a deep understanding of travel and expense policies and procedures, ensuring efficient and effective processes within business conduct parameters. You will act as a subject matter expert in the Global Finance Travel & Expense (T&E) function, focusing on outstanding customer service and operational efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing an in-depth understanding of T&E policies for different geographies and educating the team on various policies - Training and educating the team on managing expense claims through T&E platform - Maintaining financial management and accounting concepts in day-to-day work - Acting as a key contact for issue resolution and participating in system implementations - Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure SLAs are met - Driving best practices across processes and ensuring ongoing compliance - Documenting processes and harmonizing them in collaboration with team members - Developing a control framework for risk identification and mitigation - Providing support on internal controls and compliance aspects - Leading continuous improvement efforts in services quality and effectiveness - Ensuring an effective, efficient, and compliant T&E audit process - Supporting cross-functional projects related to travel and expenses In addition, you will need to demonstrate: - Deep functional Finance large-scale services expertise - Ability to streamline processes and deliver value - Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve complex issues independently - Leadership skills in defining resource planning, team roles, recruitment, performance evaluation, and training - Stakeholder management and project management skills - Strong interpersonal, communication, and teaming skills To qualify for this role, you should have: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance & Accounting - Prior experience in a global finance operations setup - Experience in T&E processes and system solutions preferred - Ability to interpret rules flexibly and enhance business processes - Proven ability to lead teams through process improvements in large organizations You will work in a collaborative environment across a global company, focusing on operational excellence and execution through partnership, building trust, and credibility in the Global Finance Operations Centre.,
