Job Description
Specialist ESG Reporting Description The ESG Reporting Specialist will work within the Global Controllership function to support Accentures Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting. This primarily includes data validation and assurance activities to support the completeness and accuracy of ESG data disclosed or used as support for disclosures. ESG reporting includes Accentures Corporate Sustainability Report, Global regulatory filings (SEC), our 3600 value reporting experience (website), ESG frameworks, and third party surveys, ranking and ratings submissions. Primary responsibilities include: Review and validate underlying supporting documentation for annual ESG reporting cycle (Sept December), as well as other reporting platforms during the year (rankings, ratings, Accenture website updates/changes). This includes obtaining underlying supporting documentation and assessing the completeness and accuracy of the data. Coordinate and manage supporting documentation for ESG disclosures during annual reporting, including the data request list and management certifications Perform annual (and periodic) peer and competitor benchmarking across certain key metrics and disclosures. This includes SEC filings, ESG frameworks, CSR reports, and public commitments/targets. Assist with ad hoc assignments, such as executive presentations or summaries for leadership, communications, research for ad hoc requests. Assist with satisfying audit requests (internal or external), including coordination of requests Qualifications Educational Qualification Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance CPA, Chartered Accountant, or similar designation preferred Skills & Work Experience 3+ years of Finance experience, including public accounting experience or industry experience that includes responsibilities in reporting, internal controls and/or process improvement Experience in ESG reporting; Project Management; SEC reporting; Accounting & Reporting Research Professional Development Skills Microsoft Office; Oral and Written Communication; Business Acumen; Innovation; Relationship Management; Teamwork and Collaboration,
