Job Description

We are seeking a GIS Specialist with 1-3 years of experience to bolster our Geographic Information Systems (GIS) operations. The perfect candidate should have familiarity with ArcGIS software and a fundamental understanding of GIS data management. This position is ideal for individuals enthusiastic about enhancing their GIS skills and contributing to spatial data analysis, mapping, and database management. Responsibilities: - Assist in the creation and maintenance of GIS maps and spatial datasets utilizing ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online. - Collaborate on GIS databases (SDE in ArcGIS Software) to preserve and organize spatial data. - Conduct basic spatial analysis and mapping to underpin projects. - Support GIS data management in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) (Bonus). - Acquire and apply knowledge of GIS tools such as FME Desktop/Server or other open-source GIS software (Bonus). - Aid in the automation of GIS workflows using Python, JavaScript, SQL, or C sharp (Bonus). - Collaborate with other teams to integrate GIS data into business processes. Qualifications: - Required: 1-3 years of experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). - Masters in Geoinformatics or Bachelors in Civil Engineering or a related field. - Bonus: Experience utilizing GIS in the utility sector. - Basic working knowledge of Esri software and GIS principles. - Some exposure to database management and spatial data processing. - Eagerness to learn new GIS tools and automation techniques. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.,
