Required Skills Extensive knowledge of Looker Effective at reading, writing, and troubleshooting LookML to model complex yet user-friendly Explores Understand Git with respect to Looker version control and can troubleshoot common git related issues Can create various types of visualizations and share them as Looks or dashboards Has a comprehensive understanding of Looker's various access control and permission management features Has experience in architecting Looker embedding through SSO login and user attributes Can debug Looker instance performance issues effectively to include query optimization, model redesign, instance features like aggregate awareness Understand redefending processes and opportunities to reduce latency Enjoys explaining and training on various topics related to Looker to customers and colleagues, can present demos of the Looker platform to business users for sales engagements Has a comprehensive understanding of connecting Looker to various data sources including BigQuery, MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres, etc. BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience Passion for technology, a quick learner who keeps up to date with industry trends Experience in building design and architecture of large-scale systems in a cloud environment (AWS/GCP/Azure) Ability to identify and analyse problems concerning the business use case while being customer facing. Experience in consultancy/advisory /support background is a major advantage Great communication skills (verbal & written) and an ability to articulate complex concepts in a simple way. Training and/or public speaking experience is an advantage,
