Job Description

Job Summary: A Front Office Associate is responsible for providing exceptional guest service at the reception, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out procedures, and handling guest inquiries efficiently. They serve as the first point of contact for guests, maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Guest Handling & Check-In/Check-Out: Welcome guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out processes. Ensure all special requests and preferences are noted and addressed. Reservations & Bookings: Manage room reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms. Coordinate with other departments to ensure room readiness. Guest Services & Assistance: Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally. Arrange transportation, restaurant bookings, and other concierge services. Communication & Coordination: Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance for room status updates. Ensure proper handover between shifts with detailed reports. Billing & Cash Handling: Maintain accurate records of transactions and generate invoices. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to hotel policies, security guidelines, and emergency procedures. Ensure confidentiality of guest information. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management (preferred). Prior experience in front office or customer service is an advantage. Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, IDS, etc.). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
