Job Description
The Front End Technical Competency Lead plays a crucial role in defining and leading engineering methodologies and technical strategies that foster innovation, efficiency, and alignment with industry standards. This position is responsible for ensuring scalable and standardized processes while providing expert consultation to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement technical strategies and methodologies organization-wide. - Demonstrate a customer-focused approach through effective communication, issue resolution, and delivery to expectations. - Drive innovation through scalable engineering processes and tools. - Identify best practices by networking with EDA and IP companies, tailoring insights to ASIC projects. - Establish suitable design methodologies and flows with proper documentation and training support. - Gather feedback from Project Leads and regional experts to drive continuous improvement. - Collaborate with external partners to integrate leading-edge methodologies and IPs. - Contribute to technical white papers, present at conferences, and provide sales support. - Offer expert consultation and governance across customer projects. - Act as a subject matter expert, supporting peer reviews and resolving complex technical issues. Qualifications: - A relevant Engineering degree. Skills & Experience: - Ability to consolidate ideas and solutions from various sources. - Proficiency in working with external suppliers and applying knowledge to ASIC projects. - Experience in implementing new tools and processes. - Strong technical documentation skills and proficiency in English. Technical Skills: - 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry. - Deep expertise in the field. - Customer engagement experience. - Knowledge of sharing best practices. - Understanding of SoC disciplines. - Problem-solving skills and coaching abilities. - Experience in technical leadership, planning, and estimation. - Pre-sales customer interaction experience. - Specification of new flows or development of existing ones. - Practical experience in SoC disciplines. - Strong presentation skills.
