We are currently seeking an Onsite IT & Network Support Engineer to provide support for casual freelancing tasks in your local area. If you are interested in contractual work, you will have the opportunity to be compensated on either an hourly or daily/half-day basis. Task tickets will be assigned based on your geographical location, allowing you to assist as per your availability, whether it be weekdays or weekends. The primary responsibilities of this role will include handling Level 1 and Level 2 IT/Networking tasks such as desktop support, installation and replacement of hardware components in servers/racks (e.g., hard disk drives), and providing onsite assistance for devices like routers, switches, and firewalls to aid remote support efforts. Key Skills Required: - Proficiency in System Desktop Administration, Customer Service, Incident/Change/Release Management, and Support for third-party applications on Windows Platforms. - Certification in IT Infrastructure Library and Windows Server Administration, with a focus on leveraging programming techniques for various projects. - Fundamental knowledge of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, troubleshooting wireless LAN, Ethernet desktop configurations, and subnetting. - Hands-on experience in technical troubleshooting across different operating systems including iOS, Android, Windows, and Blackberry devices.
