Flexing It is a freelance consulting marketplace that connects freelancers and independent consultants with organizations seeking independent talent. We have partnered with a leading Food & Beverages Company to find a Supply Chain Planning Consultant with 6-10 years of experience in organized retail. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain performance and customer service levels. An MBA with a focus on operations or supply chain is preferred. Responsibilities: - Develop and optimize supply chain planning strategies for retail and e-commerce channels - Lead demand forecasting, inventory management, and replenishment planning - Collaborate with internal stakeholders in merchandising, logistics, and store operations - Identify supply chain inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions - Implement planning tools and support system enhancements Please note that the initial contract duration is 9 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance. Skills Required: - 6-10 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning within organized retail - Strong knowledge of retail operations, fulfillment models, and demand planning - Proficiency in supply chain planning tools such as SAP APO, JDA, Oracle, etc. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities - MBA in Operations/Supply Chain Management (preferred),
