Flexing It is a freelance consulting marketplace that connects freelancers and independent consultants with organizations seeking independent talent. We have partnered with our client, a global non-profit technology organization that is looking to engage with a Consultant in Marketing Communications. As a Consultant in Marketing Communications, your key responsibilities will include creating clear and concise content such as reports, member emails, social media posts, calls for public comment, and summaries of technical information. You will ensure that complex topics are presented in an easy-to-understand manner for a wide audience, including those without a technical background. Working with the team, you will refine content based on input from various internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing strategic communication materials around core programs based on existing documents and materials, leveraging AI tools where relevant. Additionally, you will help identify content gaps and opportunities by analyzing current materials and audience needs, focusing on creating evergreen content that remains relevant over time to provide long-term value and support ongoing engagement. Supporting the dissemination of content across various channels, including social media, email/newsletters, and other agreed-upon platforms, will be part of your role. You will also develop a strategic plan for video content, offering recommendations on key themes, formats, and platforms to enhance audience engagement. Identifying opportunities for leveraging video and outlining best practices for production and distribution to ensure effective reach and impact will be crucial. Furthermore, you will assist in developing and updating the content calendar for the organization, coordinating execution across stakeholders, and tracking progress across platforms like social media, email, portals, and websites. This is a part-time position with a duration of 3 months, and you will be working remotely. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience in marketing and communication. Strong written communication skills are essential, especially in developing long-form content on business and research-oriented topics. You should be able to break down technical content into easily understandable language and have familiarity with SEO and web optimization techniques. Experience working across multiple communication channels, such as social media, newsletters, and websites, is required. Experience in the development and impact space will be advantageous, and you should possess the ability to coordinate with stakeholders across geographies seamlessly.,
